The Legal Triage Table (Wednesdays 10am – 1pm and Thursdays from 12 – 3pm at Metro Baptist Church, 410 W 40th St) Volunteers answer questions, review papers, and provide simple services (e.g., change of address, work authorization). We do not assist in filing asylum applications or TPS papers at the triage table. We need 1-2 volunteer attorneys at each session as well as interpreters (Spanish, French) and assistants to give out tickets. Sign up here.
St Paul & St Andrew’s Church Miracle Mondays (Mondays from 9:00-11:00am); Volunteers help pass out light food and supplies or volunteer at the Free Store (on select days). Click here to find out more.
Family Volunteering at the JCC (Various days and time); Choose from a variety of options such as tutoring school children, packaging food at West Side Campaign Against Hunger, sorting clothing donations; playing games with children from the nearby shelter on Saturdays, etc..
